Ten years ago, the footballer Robert Enke took his own life, a train hit him. Now his widow Teresa reports that she has sent a letter to the engine driver.

After her husband's suicide at a railroad crossing, Teresa Enke sent a letter to the driver concerned. "I do not know the locomotive driver's name, I would have liked to tell him that Robbi never wanted to involve another human being and draw for his life," said the widow of former National Keeper Robert Enke of the "Bild" newspaper.

She sent the letter to the train. "Without this illness, he would have considered and never done, Robbi did not have that on the screen," said the 43-year-old. "That's what I would have liked to tell the engine driver, maybe he'll read that now, I hope the letter has reached him, I'm terribly sorry, and I know that Robbi would do the same."

Robert Enke suffered from depression and took to the north of Hannover on November 10, 2009, the life. Only two days earlier he had stood for Hannover 96 in goal. The foundation, named after him, supports the research and treatment of heart disease in children and depression.
