The suspicious man after the momentous bottle-throwing at the station of Kamen has again turned to the police. After initially speaking of a mistake, the 31-year-old has now admitted to having thrown the bottle. This was reported by the police in Dortmund.
According to investigators, the glass bottle thrown out of the train had bounced off an obstacle on Friday - and had hit a two-year-old toddler who was at the train station on his father's arm. The girl was seriously injured, temporarily in mortal danger and had to be operated on.
In his renewed contact with the police, the man from the Moers in the Rhineland, according to officials, said that he had been heavily intoxicated - and carelessly thrown the bottle out of the window. He was unaware that the passing train was at the height of a train station at that moment.
