A "Reich Citizen" is said to have threatened two young people in Hanover with a rifle on the open road. Special forces of the police arrested the 44-year-olds in the night in his near residential building, as the officials in the capital of Lower Saxony announced. They found next to a rifle and a sword and some marijuana.
The incident occurred accordingly on Monday evening in the district Wettbergen. In the street there had been a loud bang, which is why the 17- and 18-year-olds wanted to go in search of the cause. The teenagers met the 44-year-old. This had apparently blamed the two for the noise and threatened with his rifle. The teenagers fled and called the police.
The man is according to current findings of the state protection a follower of the "Reich citizenship movement". By midnight, special forces had violently invaded his house. He is now being investigated for suspected threat and for possible weapons and drug offenses.
