Matthew McConaughey is on Instagram: "I'm a bit nervous"

Jennifer Aniston recently became weak. The US actress gave up her abstinence - and signed up for the photo platform Instagram. In a short time she had millions of fans, the network collapsed temporarily under the onslaught.

Now fellow Matthew McConaughey has also discovered the site. He was not as successful as his colleague, but can still be seen his start: he has collected more than half a million fans after a few hours.

In a short video, he showed what drives him. He wants to share his views. "I'm a little nervous," he said. Because he was sure to want to lead a monologue - he was not in a dialogue. "However, I have learned that you also have to have a dialogue".

He looks forward to sharing who he is. "I hope that what I share here tickles your laughing muscles."

McConaughey, who most recently shot the thriller "In the Web of Temptation" and the comedy "Beach Bum," won the Oscar for best actor in 2014 for the AIDS drama Dallas Buyers Club.
