Actor Alec Baldwin is legally against a man with whom he had argued for a parking lot. Baldwin accuses him of slander. The man spread lies about the incident. The assertion that Baldwin beat him was "objectively wrong" is stated in the application.
The man had previously claimed Baldwin had injured his left cheek. The men argued in November 2018 in Manhattan for a parking lot. Baldwin was arrested after that.
In January, Baldwin admitted at a court hearing that he had shoved his adversary twice, according to NBC. He had agreed to a one-day anti-aggression strand. But Baldwin insisted he had not beaten the man.
"When two New Yorkers fight for a parking lot, they usually exchange a few sharp words and then live their lives," it is now in the suit of the Hollywood stars. "But that's different in this case."
"Desperate attempt"
Baldwin's adversaries invented a story to get money from the superstar. Surveillance camera videos would prove that Baldwin did not hit. But the man told the doctors and the police anyway.
The man's lawyer described the lawsuit as a "desperate attempt" to silence his client. He is looking forward to the court date.
Baldwin is known for his satire show "Saturday Night Live" including movies like "Hunt for Red October" and the TV series "30 Rock" as well as his persiflage to US President Donald Trumpin.
