Vodka truck tips over

On Highway 10, a drink bar has overturned and has lost most of its alcoholic charge. "There's a lot of vodka on the street," a police spokesman said in the morning. The three-lane highway towards Frankfurt (Oder) had to be completely closed between Königs Wusterhausen and Niederlehme. Also a trace of the oncoming lane was affected.

The 40-tonner had dodged on the southern Berlin ring probably two slowing down cars and come to a falter, said the police spokesman. The truck driver was taken to hospital, otherwise no one was injured.

Until the salvage work is completed, the A10 remains closed to the police in the direction of Frankfurt (Oder). At the exit Königs Wusterhausen will be derived. As the truck broke through the central bus bar, the left lane in the direction of Magdeburg remained closed.
