According to SPIEGEL information, the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (Bamf) has rejected the asylum application of the Lebanese clan leader Ibrahim Miri. Earlier, the "world" had reported on the decision.
A spokesman for the Federal Ministry of the Interior had previously said that the decision of the Bamf would be delivered during the day. Minister Horst Seehofer (CSU) wants to comment on this at noon.
As it goes in the case exactly is still unclear, wrote the "world". Miri's lawyer had filed an application with the Bremen branch of the agency at the end of October. The clan chief and former president of the rocker group "Mongols MC Bremen" claimed to feel persecuted in Lebanon. According to their own statements, Miri illegally entered Germany with the help of smugglers. He had been deported from Germany only in summer.
Because he had come to Germany despite the imposed several years re-entry ban, was subsequently imposed deportation against him. How it goes now in the case exactly is still unclear.
