Schrecksekunde: Unknown have probably thrown an ICE on the way to Hanover with stones. The windows stopped - the ride was still prematurely ended for the train.

Unknown persons have probably thrown stones at an ICE of Deutsche Bahn on the way from Hamburg to Hanover and damaged two side windows of a wagon. The discs splintered at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour, but were not penetrated, as the federal police announced on Sunday. The passengers were frightened, nobody was hurt.

The train was hit between Bienenbüttel and Bad Bevensen in the district of Uelzen. After the incident on Saturday afternoon, the approximately 350 passengers had to get off in Uelzen and continue with subsequent trains.
