"You're good for me" - with these words Walter Freiwald thanked for the news that reached him since he made his cancer public. "Thank you for your reactions and your sympathy," wrote the TV presenter on Facebook.
Last week he had announced that he was terminally ill. "Cancer is an asshole and will kill me," he wrote on Twitter.
He wanted to make his illness public even before the media disseminated falsehoods. He will not survive the disease. The message ends with the words "I love my wife and children".

Freiwald, 65, first became known throughout Germany, first as a voice, and later as a sidekick by Harry Wijnvoord in the RTL program "The Price Is Hot" in 1989 (read here what companions say about Freiwald). From 2012 to 2013 he hosted a shopping show, in 2015 he moved to the jungle camp. He then appeared at shows such as Circus HalliGalli and Neo Magazine Royale.
