John Legend is said to be the most attractive man in the world. This has at least been decided by the US magazine "People" - and this year the 40-year-old has been awarded the title "Sexiest Man Alive".
However, the singer and actor is apparently not sure if he can live up to this claim. "I was thrilled, but at the same time I was a bit scared because it's a lot of pressure," Legend told the magazine after the decision. "Everyone will take me apart and see if I'm sexy enough to lead this title."
Married is Legend with model Chrissy Teigen. The two were sting a partner tattoo. This consists of the names of their two children and the name of each other.

- People (@people) November 13, 2019Commenting on his recent award, Legend flirted with the question of whether he was a worthy successor to the previous title holder: "I also follow Idris Elba, which is not fair and not nice to me." Actor Elba was voted "Sexiest Man Alive" by People last year.
Legend's wife also reacted with humor. "My secret is revealed, I've fulfilled my dream of once sleeping with the Sexiest Man Alive, an honor," wrote the 33-year-old Teigen on Twitter. She commented on her husband's tweet on the title: "From now on it's just downhill."
Since 1985, the magazine awards the title annually, as the first received him actor Mel Gibson. In recent years, country star Blake Shelton, US actor Dwayne Johnson, football legend David Beckham and Australian actor Chris Hemsworth have been honored.
