At Frankfurt airport two planes collided. After landing, a plane from Korean Air collided with a plane from Air Namibia on the runway on Saturday night.
The South Korean news agency Yonhap reported that there had been no casualties as the Air Namibia plane was traveling at low speed on the ground. The horizontal stabilizer of the Korean Boeing 777 and a wing tip of the aircraft of Air Namibia had been damaged. The South Korean plane could start the return flight to Seoul only 21 hours later than planned. For the passengers hotel accommodations were offered.
The airport operator Fraport confirmed the accident on early Sunday morning. A spokeswoman told the SPIEGEL that it had come shortly before 18 clock to the accident. At first she was unable to give any indication as to the cause; the Federal Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau took over the investigation. According to the spokeswoman, the incident did not lead to delays in other takeoffs and landings in Frankfurt.
