On a Christmas market on the Landsberger Allee in Berlin, a man has been overrun on Saturday night by a roller coaster car. He succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

The killed had probably been an employee of the roller coaster, which is built on the Landsberger Allee, said fire department spokesman Jens-Peter Wilke. The man had been pulled out from under the wagon, subsequent attempts at resuscitation were unsuccessful. According to the "rbb" the Christmas market was cleared.
