Christmas is her "absolute favorite time of the year", said the 31-year-old on the occasion of the party with her friend Dustin Schöne. Also musicians DJ Ötzi and Model Eveline Hall celebrated in a hotel vigorously.

On Christmas Eve Gercke traditionally celebrates only with the family. "And then I always play Christmas songs at the piano, my sister distributes song lyrics and then - between all the food that's there - is sung."
Nibbling is also part of Gercke's Christmas time. "If I spend all my time eating a cookie too much, then it's not fun anymore," she said. "I think it's just great to be able to say: It's Christmas and now we're not looking at the calorie count."
Looking back on the year, Gercke particularly likes to remember her first fashion show as a designer. "It was just incredibly fun."
