Ivcher, an Israeli businessman who is a human rights fighter in Peru and a defender of democracy in his country, was born in 1940 in Hadera. At the beginning of his business in Peru, he opened a small factory, which after a while established "Beit Baruch", where Israeli backpacks were hosted. In the early 1990s, he already owned the second largest television channel in Peru. As a freedom fighter, Baruch Ivcher supported his channel writings as they revealed corruption of state leaders in drug trafficking. To silence the TV station's criticism, Peru's then dictatorial regime began to persecute Baruch Ivcher, accusing him of capital punishment treason and in 1997 deprived him of his Peruvian citizenship and business. During this time, Ivcher lived in Herzliya and Miami, receiving the support of the US Congress and officials in Europe for his heroic objection to freedom of expression.

Years later, Baruch Ivcher won the Costa Rican American International Court for a trial against the Peruvian government. After the fall of power and the escape of Peru's president, Ivcher returned to Peru and regained his citizenship and property. Ivcher is involved in the Israeli business world as a real estate owner, and in addition, he owns factories across South America, at the Hollywood Studio Films franchise in Peru, and he even imported the Delkan 2000 machines into Peru.

"I decided to accept the donation request from the Friends of the Beit Lessin Theater Friends Association - Ms. Hila Rahab and I do the same in honor of Tel Aviv-Jaffa Mayor Ron Huldai, a huge mayor of his generation. I believe that in his work, corruption has gone "out of freedom", it is constantly building and leveraging and making the city day by day, hour by hour, the pace city in Israel and for everything around the world. As an Israeli living in Peru, my heart has always been a warm corner of Israel. I will always have the will and power to contribute to society, culture and the country and I am delighted to have the opportunity to help both the theater and the city, for a better future for the State of Israel, "Ivcher said.
