In honor of the upcoming Chanukah, Gal Caspers, a finalist last season of Master Chef, in collaboration with Sauter, the cooking and baking brand, opened the first Israeli pop-up pop-up in Tel Aviv this week.
The Spinge, a North African food, was served at various festive occasions, including Chanukah - as the tradition of eating foods full of oil. These days Spinge is coming to Azrieli in Tel Aviv with the latest versions with flavors such as: Spinge Amarna, Malabi, Bueno, Citrus, Raspberry, Ricotta and Ras al-Shop. Spinach dishes will cost NIS 19, Mini Spin cone NIS 16, soldiers will only pay NIS 15.
Pop-up Amarna & Sauter will be operating on the 2nd floor of Azrieli Mall, from 1 December until the end of Chanukah, from 10am to 10pm.

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup of powdered sugar
- 1 cup flour
- ¼2 teaspoons baking powder
- Salty salt
- 250 gricotta
- 2 tablespoons vanilla sugar
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
To Spinje
- Oil
For frying
- sugar powder
- Lemon (Grating)
For submission
Preparation
In the mixer with the whipping hook, water whisk the eggs and powdered sugar until apple froth is obtained.
Add the flour, baking soda, salt, ricotta, vanilla sugar and arrange for about 3 minutes.
Fill a frying pan with deep oil.
Transfer the batter to a perfume bag, cut a relatively wide opening with scissors (you can open a small opening initially and check if you are satisfied with the size that comes out), and spoon into the oil 4 cm a night at a time.
Oil should be spherical in shape, and while frying it should be flipped alone, if not - then play with it a little with oil until golden on all sides.
Serve: Sprinkle with powdered sugar and a little lemon zest.
