Several alleged victims of sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein complain of compensation from the estate of the US multimillionaire. One of the women was apparently only 13 years old at the time of the crime.

The sexual abuse of girls and young women by the investor Jeffrey Epstein apparently began in 1985, according to an application, have submitted nine alleged victims of the US multimillionaire against his estate, as reported, inter alia, the news agency Reuters.

The plaintiffs, named as Jane Doe I through Jane Doe IX, belong to more than 20 women who are officially seeking compensation from Epstein's $ 577 million estate. The condemned sex offender died in a Manhattan jail in early August after he was again tried for allegations of abuse.

The well connected businessman was accused of sexually abusing dozens of minors. According to the indictment, the multimillionaire between 2002 and 2005 in New York and Florida built a Abuse Ring.

The nine women reportedly filed their lawsuit with a New York State court in Manhattan. They claimed that Epstein's attacks lasted more than two decades, often with the help of his staff.

Six of the women claim in the complaint that they have been raped. One plaintiff accused Epstein of having sexually abused and abused her. The deeds started in 1985, when she was 23 years old.

Another plaintiff stated that she was 14 years old when the abuse started in 1990. Jane Doe III said she was only 13 when her abuse began in 2003.

Epstein's executors Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn had asked a judge in mid-November to approve the creation of a fund to compensate for alleged victims. The fund should create a "voluntary, confidential, non-hostile alternative to litigation," it said.

Prince Andrew threatens subpoena in the US

In the abuse case, the British Prince Andrew has recently come under pressure. Virginia Giuffre, one of the alleged victims, described in a BBC interview that she had been forced into sex with the Royal three times, twice as a 17-year-old. The attacks are said to have occurred in 2001 and 2002.

According to the broadcaster, Andrew will have to expect to be summoned to testify when traveling to the US. Corresponding applications were made by five suspected victims of abuse.

The prince denies the allegations. The detailed description of the US-American had the 59-year-old but already had little to oppose in a BBC interview last month. The British broadcaster had already recorded the Giuffre interview at that time, but deliberately withheld it.
