CDP: new headquarters in Naples, in the territories development center

2019-12-05T15:57:07.169Z

It is the sustainable development of the territories at the center of the activity of the Cassa depositi e prestiti, which today inaugurated a new office in Naples.
An operational model that, through support to businesses, with a particular focus on medium and small ones, places the country's infrastructure development and renewed support for local authorities at the center of Cdp.
No more representative offices in the new Neapolitan headquarters, but operational reference points, with experts able to respond to the needs of companies and public administrations, through the offer of the entire range of CDP products: financing, guarantees, venture capital , financial and technical consulting activities.
The inauguration of the new Naples office follows those already held in Verona and Genoa and precedes other openings, including Florence, Palermo, Bari and Turin.
On the occasion of the inauguration of the headquarters in Naples, Cdp and Ice, the Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies, signed a protocol that provides for the start of a collaboration to evaluate and define initiatives that have goal of enhancing assistance to Italian companies and providing them with more complete, integrated and system support. The collaboration can be realized through the establishment of an ICE desk in the territorial offices of Cassa depositi e prestiti, to support those companies that will demonstrate the need to support their growth projects on foreign markets. In Campania, Cassa depositi e prestiti operates in support of the finance of the local authorities of the Campania Region with about 3.5 billion euros of financing, for the realization of new investments in the territory.
In support of businesses, in recent years Cdp has granted loans for almost 600 million euros and is finalizing operations such as Basket bonds Campania and the Rotating Fund for Campania (Fri Campania) which allows subsidized loans of up to around 500 million euros.
In Naples, a pilot project of social housing is underway, in the Nuova Vigliena district, for about 70 dwellings for an investment of 15 million euros, while other projects are under study for a further 600 housing units including accommodations and beds in the field of student housing.
