"How to learn about a dog?" To provide a correct information on the subject comes, for the first time in the capital, the commitment of the Order of veterinary doctors of Rome and the province that on 14th and 15th December organizes the training course in the Muratella kennel (via della Magliana 856), "Patentino", recognized by the Ministry of Health and divided into two days of theoretical and practical training, with the aim of allowing participants, all private citizens, to explore the animal world by relying on professionals in the sector.

"The behavioral development of the dog - explains the president of the Order Teresa Bossù - the phases of life, the alarm bells of danger, the language to be learned or to be awakened by the atavistic knowledge for a healthy coexistence, are just some of the subjects of the course aimed at educating citizens, owners and non-owners, on the importance of responsible possession, not only notions of current legislation, but essential information in everyday life, from the physiological and ethological characteristics of the dog to the importance of the reference figures, up to practical examples ".

The course will be aimed at a minimum of 50 students and provides for the final delivery of a certificate of participation.

"This is a decisive step - notes the veterinarian Pasqualino Santoro - towards a culture that sees the dog and the entire animal world in a less consumeristic way, but as a focus of interest and attention that, in the future, will also involve veterinary facilities ".
