After the Galaxy Fold, the first folding to arrive on the Italian shelves, Samsung is preparing to launch a new foldable, smaller and above all cheaper. Against the 2,000 euros of the Galaxy Fold, the new smartphone is expected to cost around a million of won won, at the exchange rate around 750 euros. The rumor comes from the Korea Herald.
The Galaxy Fold is designed to open up to offer the size of a tablet. The new leaflet, whose concept was shown by the same Samsung in a video at the end of October, has a shell design instead. That is, the phone folds in half, assuming the size of a square, similar to the new Motorola Razr.
The Shell Galaxy should be unveiled by Samsung in February, in an event at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, along with the new Galaxy S11 series smartphones. Also according to rumors, next August the Korean company could instead present the Galaxy Fold 2, the new version of its first fold.
