The processor, evolution of the Snapdragon 855 present on most of the high-end phones on the market today, will support cameras up to 200 mp, as well as promising performance far superior to those of its predecessor.

However, the chip will not integrate a 5G module, the Snapdragon X55, which will be external. The integration will concern the Snapdragon 765 processor, medium-high range, which will arrive together with the X52 modem.

During the summit, Qualcomm also unveiled its new ultrasonic fingerprint reader to be inserted under the displays. It's called 3D Sonic Max and expands the area of ​​fingerprint recognition, allowing easier but also safer unlocking. It will in fact be possible to adopt two fingertips at the same time.
