Under pressure from Medienanstalt Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein (MA HSH), YouTube has blocked 300 videos that have been distributed by Bushido's album "Sonny Black" or individual tracks. Since the album is indicated as harmful to minors, it must not be sold to children and young people - and now it should not be freely accessible to them on the Internet, said the media institute.
They have found that the videos were seen on the platform and reported this to the YouTube parent Google Ireland Ltd. These posts are now no longer available to users in Germany. Anyone looking for it, however, still finds recordings that redistribute the rapper's album.
"Sonny Black" was always busy courts
Bushido's "Sonny Black" has been busy over the past few years courts again: The Federal Administrative Court ruled only a few weeks ago that the record was rightly classified as harmful to minors. Thus, the judges corrected the judgment of the lower court and confirmed the decision of the Federal Examination Office to put the album on the index for youth-endangering media.
The record was published in February 2014, in April 2015, the Federal Examination Office for Juvenile Media put them on the index and banned the sale to children and adolescents - because it degrades, among other things, women and homosexuals and glorifies violence. The Berlin rapper sued against the list entry, the Administrative Court of Cologne rejected the lawsuit.
On appeal, the Higher Administrative Court of Münster decided last year for Bushido, the album was again sold to children and young people. As a result, the Federal Audit Office submitted a revision. The Federal Administrative Court was right in the last instance.
