"Italy - USA, united in traditions" is the title of the event promoted on 7 December by the Municipality of Limatola (Benevento) in the charming village in which rises the medieval castle that will host the tenth edition of "The Markets of Christmas ", defined among the three most beautiful in Europe. The event consists of a Christmas show, in the presence of hundreds of people, in which Christmas trees will be lit at the same time both in Limatola, in the central square of the town, and in the "Little Italy" of Baltimore, in the State of Maryland (USA).

It will be an opportunity to discuss, live, about Italian traditions and how these are still living in the Italian-American community. The President of the "Italian Language Foundation" (ILF) in New York will be attending the event, Margaret Cuomo (sister of the current Governor of the State of New York), Louis Tallarini (former president of the Columbus Citizens Foundation in New York and Chairman of the ILF), the Italian-American Community of Baltimore, the Councilor for Tourism of the Campania Region Corrado Matera and the mayor of Limatola, Domenico Parisi, together with local administrators. "The purpose of this unique event in Campania - commented Mayor Parisi - is to promote abroad and, particularly in the United States of America, the local traditions of the internal areas of our region which, together with our historical and artistic beauties and cultural, can act as a true tourist attractor ".
