Christmas and New Year, travel bookings + 13%

(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 06 - Travel bookings for end-of-year travel increase by 13% and the budget for travel increases. Confindustria Viaggi, the association that represents over 90% of the Italian tour operating market, emerges from the Observatory.
About 50% of bookings have been made in advancebooking, well in advance and concern people aged between 35 and 70 years. Singles choose adults only and traveling resorts. The tendency is to include special experiences when booking.
Italians have booked trips almost on all continents.
