The young Swedish activist Greta Thunberg arrived in Madrid after a night train journey from Lisbon. Some journalists and television media are waiting for her at the station. The 16-year-old who inspired the environmental movement Fridays for future (FFF) will participate in the UN Conference on climate change which opened last Monday in Madrid and will end on Friday 13 December.
Greta will join this afternoon at 6 pm on the global climate strike that will start at the Atocha station. In a tweet yesterday he recalled that today there is the new global strike (the fifth since FFF was formed) and had given an appointment to the boys of Madrid.
