(ANSA) - BERLIN, DECEMBER 6 - The SPD congress has elected Norbert Walter-Borjans as president to lead the SPD with 89.2% of the votes. This is the leader who defeated the chancellor Olaf Scholz at the basic consultation last Saturday. Borjans obtained 545 yes and 47no, while 19 abstained. This is a powerful result, for the former Minister of Finance of the North Rhine-Westphalia.
