According to reports, the explosion took place in the 12-storey building in Presov, Slovakia, just after noon. The outbreak was reported between the ninth and 12th floors and many people fled to the roof. The police called the situation "very serious". An emergency services spokesman, Alena Krcova, said there were many wounded. The other tenants were evacuated to a nearby school.
