(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, DECEMBER 6 - The US economy in November created 266,000 new jobs, well above the number of about 180,000. The unemployment rate drops from 3.6% to 3.5%, the lowest level since 1969. The rise in employment (128,000 in October) can be explained, however, partly because last month they returned to work after about 50,000 employees of the GM, who were therefore not included in the October report, were on strike each week.
