(ANSA) - SAN LUCA (REGGIO CALABRIA), DECEMBER 7 - The police of San Luca reported 458 people in a state of liberty, with 12 farmers, to the Procuratorate of the Italian Republic on charges of fraud. Surveys, carried out between February 2017 and last November, showed a presumed tax return for almost six million euros due to labor relations in the agricultural sector and the consequent payment by INPS in favor of false laborers of social security and welfare contributions to which in reality they had no right. It also turned out that some of the people involved in the investigation belong to families linked to the organized crime of the Locride. The people involved in the investigation are accused in various ways, in addition to being fraudulent, of ideological falsehood committed by the private in public and falsehood in private writing. The amounts unlawfully charged by INPS concerned compensation for illness, unemployment and maternity.
