ROME - "Maritozzo Day" makes its debut throughout Italy, an event now in its third edition dedicated to Rome's loaf-shaped loaf and filled with sweet or savory flavors. The event, organized by Tavole Romane and scheduled for December 7th, has for the new edition solidarity with the charity campaign "And if it were your superpower? In favor of the Breast Unit of the Fatebenefratelli hospital - Isola Tiberina in Rome.
The initiative, with a minimum donation of 1 euro for each bribe offered by the participating venues, aims to support the purchase of a hair-loss helmet to be used during chemotherapy for breast cancer fighting. The donation can be made by pouring it into a special container of the individual rooms that will remain on display for a month, from 7 December to 6 January 2020
The event also includes the offer of a lighter version of the product: a "pink" husband made with unrefined flours, low in sugar or natural substitutes, with the addition of red fruits, seeds and dried fruit for people who are going through a delicate moment of health.
The event is attended by 70 activities on the peninsula and the list of participating businesses can be consulted on the event website.
