"Electric shock" process in Munich: court deals with possible foot fetish

2019-12-10T19:01:56.323Z

David G. is charged with attempted murder in 88 cases. He posed as a scientist and persuaded women to give themselves power surges. In court, a witness describes the appearance of the man.

David G. is said to have kept a transformer and two metal plates in a cupboard in his bedroom. He still remembers it well, says the police officer in front of the 1st Grand Criminal Court of the Landgericht München II. Actually, the official should only secure evidence on David G.'s computer. But the electrical parts have remained in his memory.

The defendant experimented with electricity in himself. That's what David G. told the police a little later. He had given himself electric shocks, he said according to the interrogation protocol. At some point, self-attempts did not seem to suit him anymore.

David G. has brought dozens of girls and young women from all over Germany to commit life-threatening surges. The 30-year-old from the Würzburg area has turned out to be a scientist who carries out a study and pays allowances to experimental subjects. Numerous women cut off lamp cables, holding the loose ends to their temples and feet, and sometimes inflicting massive electric shocks. David G. watched them on Skype. The indictment is for attempted murder in 88 cases. He does not want to know that he put the women in mortal danger.

Fantasies since childhood

The police caught David G. in February 2018 in red handed. A 16-year-old girl from Fürstenfeldbruck was hospitalized after the electric shock. There she reported on a scientist who initiated her via internet chat. The doctors informed the police. The investigators initiated another chat. When David G. was sitting at his computer in front of his computer, police officers entered his home and arrested him.

"Mr. G. was quite accessible, very calm, he did not resist, a nice person," says a detective in court. On the drive from his home to the office, he said he had fantasies since childhood. So she has recorded it in a note. What exactly he fantasized about is not there. He described his behavior as "drive-driven," but claims that the electricity tests did not arouse him sexually. He had read his knowledge about electricity. He also said that he was glad that his actions had an end. He hopes to get help.

Her colleague recalls in court that David G. spoke of violent fantasies. Also this policeman says that David G. denied a sexual component. The findings on his computer, however, can doubt it.

At the time of his arrest, David G. had opened numerous websites on his computer, many of which suggested a tendency to foot fetishism. "I did not know the pages so far either," the official says, as the court shows photos of the pages on a canvas, "you never learn." David G. was apparently interested in celebrity feet. And he surfed on a site that promotes itself as the "best female foot fetish board on the www" as the best Internet portal for lovers of female feet.

"We want to see feet!"

The presiding judge Thomas Bott wants to know more. When the witnesses leave the room, he asks the IT expert present to visit the website. The computers of the judiciary are locked for such contents however. A sideline representative provides her laptop. There is a mood among those involved in the process.

"We want to see feet!" Cries the defender. Joy in the hall. A lesbian porn starts. The chairman stops the screening. That was not what you wanted. The judge starts another video in which a woman praises a cornea slicer. David G. looks interested to the canvas. It's one of the few moments when he even raises his head.

Hour after hour he had previously lost himself in the void. He had not looked at any of the three policemen when they reported the date of his arrest. He had not looked either, as photos of the files and web pages on his computer were shown on the screen. Only when the judge searches for foot fetish videos does David G. lift his head and look.
