Bill Cosby has lost his appeal for conviction for sexual assault. A Pennsylvania appeals court rejected the plaintiff's request to cancel the first instance ruling that was based on the judge's decision to let five other prosecutors testify. Cosby's lawyers claimed that the magistrate had improperly allowed the five women to be heard in last year's new trial, but the court stated that state law allows for testimony if this shows that Cosby had a well-determined model of drug use and harass his victims. The 82-year-old actor must serve a prison sentence of between three and ten years for the 2004 incident at his Philadelphia home, which he claims was consensual.
