Since you can ever lose track: In more than 150 productions Jack Black has participated - including "Mars Attacks!" by Tim Burton or "High Fidelity" after the novel by Nick Hornby.
In the "Kung Fu Panda" films he lent his voice to the main character Po, he also sings, writes songs, runs a Youtube channel.
Asked by "Variety" recently about his favorite Christmas movie, the 50-year-old briefly considered and then called the strip "Elf", a comedy by Jon Favreau from 2003 with Will Ferrel in the lead role. Both would have "hit a bull's eye" with it.

- Variety (@Variety) December 11, 2019And from his own films ?, the journalist asked. "Did I make a Christmas movie?", Black asked confused, but quickly remembered the home exchange comedy "Love does not need a vacation," in which he stood with Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet and Jude Law in front of the camera. "Ah, Nancy Meyers - a genius," he neatly complimented the director afterwards.
Black played the role of Miles, an unhappily in love composer, who timidly befriends Winslet's character. Meyers said in an interview back in 2006 that she had written the role specifically for Black. "I saw 'School of Rock' and thought he was the cutest guy ever, I fell in love with him," the director said.
Black is currently promoting his new movie "Jumanji: The Next Level" - no chance to forget it.
