About 50 people, mostly civilians, were injured in the suicide bombing of a medical facility under construction near the US air base in Bagram, north of Kabul. The authorities reported it.
The US military did not provide details on the victims.
However, a local official in the Bagram district confirmed that more than 50 people were injured, including women and children. The attack would take place at 5:55 am local time, when most people slept in their homes. The wounds are mostly due to the glass broken by the power of the explosion. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, which took place in an area previously the target of the Taliban.
