(ANSA) - TURIN, DECEMBER 11 - The War Flag of Public Security Agents leaves the Royal Armory of Turin, which has guarded it for a hundred years, to be exhibited at the Vittoriano di Roma until March 2020. This morning the solemn ceremony exit of the Flag in the Swiss Guards Hall of the Royal Palace, in Turin.
An "important and significant moment", for the Central Director of the Inspection Office of the Department of Public Security and Coordinator of the Central Directorate of General Affairs, Prefect Carmelo Franco Maria Gugliotta. The prefect of Turin, Claudio Palomba, the manager Giuseppe De Matteis, the mayor Chiara Appendino, the director of the Museum and the Historical Office of the State Police, Raffaele Camposano were also present.
Assigned by King Vittorio Emanuele III in 1919, with the dismissal of the Corps, on 4 March 1923, the Flag was made available to the Royal Armory of Turin to be kept there.
