ROME - The Sicilian Red Orange PGI is protected against counterfeiting even with Blockchain technology, which guarantees the authenticity and integrity of the fruit in Italy and abroad. It is the ROUGE project "Red Orange Upgrading Green Economy" of the Consortium for the Protection of the Red Orange of Sicily IGP, presented today at the "Rouge, the Red Orange of Sicily PGI becomes" Smart ", organized by the Consortium under the patronage of Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies.
