There comes a bonus for the purchase of artificial milk for mothers who cannot breastfeed, which can reach up to 400 euros per year and be distributed until the sixth month of life of the newborn. An amendment to the maneuver approved by the Senate Budget Committee provides for this.
It will be a decree of the Ministry of Health to set the economic requirements for access to the bonus and for what impediments to breastfeeding (pathological conditions, including cases of hypo and illness).
"Women who cannot breastfeed due to pathological problems not only face a health problem during a particular moment in their lives, but are also forced to spend considerable amounts on artificial milk. Today, thanks to the action of Movement 5 Stars, this injustice was remedied, an amendment to the Budget bill was approved, which provides for an annual bonus of € 400.
