When it comes to giving birth to her eldest daughter, Shay Mitchell loves to do everything big. From Pregnancy Exposure - A topless photo with an advanced abdomen, through the pregnancy documentation with a host of sexy photos to the announcement of the birth and revealing her daughter's name, Atlas Noa, with an exciting post written by the newlyweds. She now posts on Instagram a fairly powerful image in which she takes a clear stand for the normalization of breastfeeding in public.
Mitchell, 32, last night posted a photo of her wearing a green leather jacket showing her breastfeeding her daughter Atlas. And next to the picture she wrote "Breast friends", which sounds like English in Best Friends, that is - best friends but with such a sweet pun.

Over the past decade, more and more women in the fashion industry have been trying to normalize breastfeeding in public by posting photos of breastfeeding babies. Those models who are used to posing nude - full or implied - try to convey that if nudity is perceived as artistic and beautiful and generally acceptable, breastfeeding in public should not disturb either, as there is no difference between the two. Among those making this statement are Giselle, Miranda Kerr, Chrissy Teagan, Candice Svenopol and even model Mara Martin, who took to Sports Illustrated in a swimsuit while breastfeeding her daughter.
