The criminal police has evaluated in the investigation of the deadly attack on a 49-year-old in Augsburg, a so-called Dashcam. This windshield camera of a taxi is said to have recorded the crime on Königsplatz.
The video, which was first reported by the "Augsburger Allgemeine", also shows a short scuffle between the later victim and the adolescents. The Augsburg prosecutor said that the Dashcam video known and flowed into the investigation.
A 17-year-old boy born in Augsburg, who has the German, Turkish and Lebanese citizenship, is in custody on suspicion of manslaughter, among other things. He is said to have killed the 49-year-old firefighter with a blow to the head.
Arrest warrants for manslaughter were issued against six other young men. Some co-accused attorneys doubt that the allegations can be upheld. They also refer to the taxi video.
The 49-year-old had died on Friday evening after the dispute with the group of young men in the ambulance. The man had been with his wife and a friendly couple on the way home from a Christmas market and a subsequent restaurant visit. The second man, a 50-year-old, was seriously injured and the wives remained physically intact.
