(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, 12 DEC - Former vice president Joe Biden, a democratic frontrunner in the race for the White House, said he had never discussed with the team responsible for his election campaign to remain in the White House for a solicitation if he was elected in 2020 "I have no plans for a mandate," he said, thus denying the alleged political rumors. In 2024 Biden would be 82 years old and America never had a president of over eighty so far. According to various media outlets, the president's president would really aim at a single mandate but he does not want to publicly promise it, believing that the move would weaken him.
