(ANSA) - SIENA, 12 DEC - The investigating judge of Siena, Roberta Malavasi, has rejected the order to seize the Twitter profile of Emanuele Castrucci, professor of philosophy of the university's law, author of some 'pro Hitler' tweets. The investigating judge added the decision because "there would be no extremes of propaganda and incitement to racial hatred but only an historical and apologetic reading of the figure of Hitler". The prosecution will appeal to the review court. The request for the seizure of the teacher's profile had been made by the prosecutor's office of Siena, appealing to the Fiano law and to article 604 bis of the penal code on "propaganda and criminal conspiracy for reasons of racial, ethnic and religious discrimination". Meanwhile, to limit the contacts of Professor Castrucci with the students, the rector Francesco Frati has suspended the discussion on the exam sessions scheduled for tomorrow. Enrolled students will take the test with a replacement.
