Hamburg Interior Senator Andy Grote (SPD) has been attacked this Friday morning.
Grote was stoned by strangers in his company car, with which he was picked up from his apartment in Hamburg's St. Pauli district. According to eyewitnesses were several perpetrators who were masked. Grote was unharmed, the car was slightly damaged.
The crime took place around 8:15 am at Hein-Hoyer-Strasse, on the corner of Simon-von-Utrecht-Strasse in the center of the district of St. Pauli. Police officers are still in the process of securing traces on the spot.
Grote had recently created with right-wing and left-wing extremists and the ultras of FC St. Pauli. The latter had denied him the right to membership in the Hamburg football club because of his attitude to the Hamburg G20 summit.
