Many were quick to dismiss the fate of Amit Segal's series of articles on the PM as propaganda during an election period, when in fact it was an intelligent television debate

Many have rushed to decide the fate of Amit Segal's series of articles on Netanyahu as a banned propaganda campaign, when in fact it is an intelligent debate at the heart of prime time

It was not surprising to see the speed with which the four-episode series of the Channel 2 political commentator was accused of election propaganda. From politicians to recent talkbooks, even before watching one of the TV shows, everyone expressed their opinion and claimed it was impossible, and how it is possible that a colleague and his editors dare to broadcast "Benjamin's Days", because we are in an election period. It is amazing how much can be said about mouth-closing on the one hand, and on the other being the ones who rush to shut the mouth to those who do not align with hegemony. Well, it's not new.

The criticism before you does not purport to deal with the political contexts or the choice of historical narratives in which faculty choose to tell the story of the Israeli prime minister. I have watched two episodes so far out of four, and the text refers to both and both.

"In remaining chapters, faculty may become Bibi Netanyahu's campaigners, but doubtful." Nose. times

Amit Segal, together with Amnon Abramovich as Side Cast Yeast for the Landings, makes an excellent television that between her and propaganda has nothing and nothing. I refute the argument and state that if anyone judges these two chapters and says that it is propaganda, then he has come up with this criticism from home: the prime minister and especially the creator of the series.

The fact that many were quick to categorize the matter as propaganda is indicative, in particular, of the contempt of many in the Zionist people. As if this year is not 2020 another moment and we have not experienced two election campaigns already, the third coming. Do we not recognize election propaganda when facing our eyes?

Come and give as an example the Facebook era, and mention Sasha Baron Cohen's speech about the propaganda machines that operate and change our minds. But this is also not the case for the series of articles in question, whose opening shot was shot this evening (Sunday). The public is very familiar with the players who presented their wares. From Ahmed Tibi through Naftali Bennett to Mina Zemach (why on earth is she still an author of something, a very strange choice of faculty to include her in the face of the embarrassment that caused the bow), the views are not likely to change the opinion of a pointer, right to left or left to right.

TV's faculty has the treasure called Channel 2 archives. While in the King Bibi film, the creator relied primarily on materials from international networks that told Netanyahu's growth story, faculty put in the back door the editorial choices that editors made over the years and the way rivalry between media outlets developed Bibi Netanyahu. This is an interesting choice, because it presents another pillar of what is emerging as the main part of Netanyahu's story: his relationship with the media as the second thread running through his entire reign, but also in all the films he has made over the years.

In the remaining chapters, faculty may become Bibi Netanyahu's campaigners, but doubtful. Segal, whose views are no stranger to anyone, is ultimately the template of his native landscape and so it came to fruition when he came to the prime minister. Netanyahu's supporters are likely to find in the first chapter not an implicit critique of faculty for their admiration, and there are those on the other side who will insist that this is purely election propaganda. The truth, as always, is in the middle and everything in my eyes. And yet, in such a shallow product as the TV medium, faculty manage to have an intelligent discussion at the heart of Prime Time, between "The Next Star" and the Next Ninja. We'll settle for that.
