(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 15 - Dozens of people were injured in lanotte last year in Beirut during clashes between police and anti-government protesters who tried to bring down the barriers erected by security forces to reach the Parliament, in the city center. The news was given by the media of the Albanians, according to whom the agents fired bullets and tear gas canisters at the demonstrators, who threw stones at the police. The clashes also spread to the nearby Piazza dei Martiri, the epicenter of the protests that have shaken the country since October 17, with hundreds of thousands of Lebanese descending into the streets to demand a complete renewal of the political class, judged corrupt and inept.
Tomorrow, talks are expected to form a new government, after the resignation presented on 29 October by Prime Minister Saad Hariri, who until now has led a national executive executive.
