A variety of culinary events at a festive winter festival, Western Galilee

Just before Chanukah and Christmas, there is a December 21-21 Western Galilee Winter Festival, December 19-21, which is a weekend full of events, from art and craft workshops, guided tours, exhibitions, musical performances, to culinary tours, wine tasting, and dinners. The festival features intriguing culinary collaborations such as Yuval (Job) Har Gil, from Grape Julius Distillery, who joins the brewman Ayala Moriel, for a special meeting on the historical connection between the alcohol world and the perfume world, and includes experimenting with the creation of participants' perfumes and drinks. La Pampa Restaurant will offer a rich smoked meat feast alongside tailor-made wines from a kosher winery. The sweet lovers will be able to get together between the Noel confectionery and booze ice cream where they will serve freshly baked ice cream pastries. At an alumna restaurant in the village of Tarshiha decorated for the holiday, a special Christmas dinner will be prepared with a menu based on local produce. A rich double tasting dinner will be held at Elmersa Restaurant in Old Acre. Nurit Foran will take visitors on a winter culinary tour of ancient Acre. In the Druze village of Jat, Janet will host an authentic Druze roll meal. At the Shepherd Dairy, personal dinners will be held at the dairy, along with tastings and many more events and sessions.

A desert winter meeting of the wandering diner on Friday, December 20 in Khan Nitzana, on one of the largest and most impressive rivers in the Negev. At a sunset plan at about 5:00 pm, and at 6:30 pm, a Saturday dinner will be served followed by a bonfire, songs and melodies in the regulated area. On Saturday morning, breakfast will be served the best of tradition. Dinner will include a huge variety of dishes such as eggplant stuffed bread or beef bragu; Lentil herb; Mushroom of kebab with tomatoes and onions; Fish wrapped in Bedouin bread are roasted directly in coals; Lamb ribs in asado; Mixed Jerusalem on a desert pita; Vegan pasta with mushrooms and fresh basil; Spinach bar and pickle lasagna plus lots of salads and dishes to suit kids, desserts, alcohol and hot drinks. In the morning, a rural Israeli breakfast of shakshuka and salad will be served (NIS 340 per diner, 250 for youth, 220 for a child).

Black Sundays in the smoky smoker, a special meal dedicated entirely to the black color will be held on Sunday, December 22 with a special menu featuring lots of black garlic and black chunks on the outside and red on the inside. The star of the dinner is the black chicken - a chicken with a spice blend, the main part of which is black garlic. Brasserie del Borgo, the seafront brasserie in Herzliya, is launching a tradition of authentic Moroccan-style Friday dinners that fit in, just like a family Friday dinner.
