Two carabinieri accused of the misleading trial for the death of the detainee Stefani Cucchi announced their intention to become a civil party against two of their co-defendant colleagues for the crime of ideological forgery. These are Colombo Labriola and Francesco Di Sano, who intend to constitute a civil party against Francesco Cavallo and Luciano Soligo, both lieutenant colonel and their senior superiors, and from whom - according to the lawyers - they would have received provisions for the amendment of some acts.
"The order was given by those who, insisting on the change, knew something more, forcing others to execute it - one of their lawyers said in the courtroom - They suffered image damage, as happened to prison officers" .
"We did not know about the beating. After the Cucchi, we are the victims. There was a strange insistence in asking us to carry out the changes we did not understand at the time. Today we know everything and for this reason we have decided to constitute ourselves a civil party. in the same hierarchical line, we underwent it, were orders ". These are the words, reported by the lawyer Giorgio Carta, of Colombo Labriola and Francesco Di Sano, the accused carabinieri who announced their intention to constitute a civil party against their superiors.
