(ANSA) - BENEVENTO, DECEMBER 16 - There are at least two earthquake shocks felt around 9 o'clock this morning in the Benevento area and which have sent people off the streets.
From the Engv it is estimated that the telluric movement could have had a magnitude from 3.1 to 3.6; the second risotto is even stronger, estimated between 3.2 and 3.7, with its epicenter in the area of San Leucio del Sannio. The students were immediately evacuated by some schools and public buildings. No damage or persons are involved. Following the two earthquake shocks recorded in Benevento and in some municipalities of the province, the mayor of the capital, Clemente Mastella, with the prefect Cappetta and with the Civil Protection, has arranged for the immediate closure of schools and public buildings except for services and emergency structures necessary for the management of interventions.
