The number of victims of the violent earthquake that struck southern Philippines yesterday has risen to at least three. The rescue teams, in fact, extracted two bodies from the rubble of a three-story building that housed a supermarket in the town of Padada, in the province of Davao del Sur. The authorities believe that at least seven people are still trapped in the rubble of the building.
The two victims of Padada joined the six-year-old girl who died in Matanao following the collapse of her home.
