Milan wins the 2019 Quality of Life for the second consecutive year, the ranking of Il Sole 24 Ore now in its thirtieth edition and published today.
The last classified, this year, is Caltanissetta while Rome and Naples climb some steps.
If the case of Milan is emblematic, this ranking shows the positive performances of all the provinces of the big cities: Rome, eighteenth, rises three places compared to last year's ranking. Immediately behind Milan, in the general 2019 ranking, the provinces of the Alpine arc are confirmed: on the podium there are also Bolzano and Trento, respectively in second and third place, followed by Aosta.
Trieste (5) and Treviso (8) also meet in the top ten of the most liveable provinces. The tail end of the ranking is occupied by the southern provinces: Caltanissetta occupies the last place for the fourth time in the history of the index after the negative performances of 1995, in 2000 and 2008. Foggia (105th) and Crotone (106th) precede it of little.
