What guided Orly Vilnai and Guy Maroz in their petition to the court against Eyal Golan, if not snooping on her behalf? • You can be forgiven and you can't, but you will maintain your morality and self-righteousness.

Breaking the tools: When the "Corporate Games" affair exploded in 2013, the country rattled. The headlines screamed, the people feared, Eyal Golan became the official punching bag of post writers on social networks, and, more than anything, almost an entire country seemed to enjoy the glorious fall of someone who had just recently been consensused as her "national singer".

In the end, the affair ended in a weaker voice than it had begun. Golan's father was sentenced to two years in prison, but despite his problematic conduct, the singer himself was charged only with a misdemeanor for a minor who presented herself as an immigrant, and here, too, he was acquitted for lack of evidence.

In the six years since then, Eyal Golan has been trying to restore his image and career with partial success. The radio stations cut his songs drastically, his television program was frozen for years, and the recognition he received for his contribution to the Hebrew singer in the Knesset caused great criticism and demonstrations. Concurrent with the king's decline, another man's horn, Omar Adam, rose, and it is likely that even without the metaphorical crown ceremony it has already been replaced.

From reading the social networking map today, Golan is likely to continue to pay for his actions in the future as well. You might call it karma. Although he came out eligible, most of us are not children, and even if we don't know all the details we pretty much understand what went on there. Is it criminal? No. Is it moral? This is already a slightly more complex question.

Apparently, Eyal Golan does not see a moral problem in exploiting his status as a famous singer for sleeping with beautiful young women, and those young women probably knew well into what deal they were entering - having sex with a first-rate celeb who would probably not count them a moment after they ended Hacked. If they do not have a moral problem with it, then there is no moral problem here. The moral standards of others are not interesting here, as they were not actually partners.

Orly Vilnai and Guy Meroz are two people who are sure their moral rules should be valid for everyone at all times. It is likely that apart from cultivating the image of justice fighters they fearlessly rely on, they have also come up with something more - the need for too many people here to continue probing into Eyal Golan's personal life, with no real justification for doing so. This week they translated this need to the court petition to approve the release of Golan's interrogation tapes in the "Social Games" affair, for the second part of their investigation against the singer, although the first part was received with scorn on all sides, and this time not only from the burnt fans.

The need to pry, rather than reveal the truth, is what guides the duo. Therefore, they do not let go of the Golan, and repeatedly serve the same heated noodles that should have been thrown in the trash.
