Prices: Istat lowers estimates, November inflation 0.2%

Istat revises the November inflation estimates downwards and indicates an increase in consumer prices of 0.2% on an annual basis, the same as in October. The preliminary estimate was + 0.4%. The monthly index instead shows a decrease of 0.2%. Effects from Black Friday (ANSA)


Istat revises the November inflation estimates downwards and indicates an increase in consumer prices of 0.2% on an annual basis, the same as in October. The preliminary estimate was + 0.4%. The monthly index instead shows a decrease of 0.2%. "In the framework of November inflation stability, only slightly above zero, for the prices of durable and semi-durable goods, the expansion of the promotional period linked to Black Friday has had several effects", commented Istat, also influencing the revision of the estimates.
